In questa seconda parte della trilogia dedicata alla grande famiglia toscana, seguiremo le politiche e le opere del più famoso membro della stessa, Lorenzo detto il Magnifico, grande restauratore di Firenze, magnate dedito all'arte e alla cultura, che portò la sua città ai più alti livelli e al Rinascimento.
