Summary

«¿Puede una mala decisión determinar el resto de tu vida?».  

Existen lugares donde uno se queda y lugares que quedan en uno. Estos últimos son los que logran salvarte.  

Tras una serie de trágicas circunstancias, malas decisiones y una amenaza de muerte, Chloe Ackerman huye hasta Greening Island, un lugar recóndito en medio de la nada, marcado por un suceso del pasado. Durante el sosiego que garantiza la temporada baja en la que no se aloja ningún huésped, se esconderá en el Hotel Raventhorp que dirige su tía Lydia, tratando de evitar a quienes trabajan en él.  

Un día, Chloe tropieza con un hombre vestido con ropa de otra época que dice llamarse Isaac Hamsun. Para su asombro, él también se aloja en Raventhorp y le asegura que es el nuevo director del hotel en 1928, el año en el que mucha gente morirá. Chloe empezará a viajar sin control del presente al pasado y, al darse cuenta de que se está enamorando de Isaac, quien le ha confiado el verdadero motivo por el que está en la isla, hará lo posible por cambiar la memoria del tiempo.
