En La Feliz Ignorancia Miguel de Unamuno escribe con perspicaz escarnio de escritores, de famosos y aspirantes a famosos, que se desenvolvian en la total ignorancia en su tiempo, y aun peor, que se enorgullecian de ello. Unamuno nos habla de sus producciones basadas en lo que era comercialmente exitoso en el momento (equivalentes actuales a los libros de vampiros y ninos magos), con total indiferencia a lo que hace una obra realmente buena, con temor de ejercitar la mente para producir algo de verdadera calidad. Una situacion muy cercana a nuestra actual produccion televisiva, y artistica en general. El rating, las encuestas de opinion y el exito economico guian las decisiones de quienes dictan lo que se debe consumir. Unamuno, un siglo antes ya alzaba su voz contraria.
