Story
I wrote three paperback original novels for Berkley under the pen name Jill Emerson, two of them in diary form, the third a presumed collaborative novel written in concert by the three viewpoint characters. These were fun to do and worked out well, and they led to Ronald Rabbit Is a Dirty Old Man. I riffed on the experience of my friend George Dickerson, who, like the novel's protagonist, had the magazine he was editing folded out from under him.

Story
Lucille Abbey runs her London secretarial agency with utmost efficiency. When, therefore, a certain Professor Hallam rejects three girls sent by her to apply for the post of his secretary and they each pronounce him "impossible", Lucille herself sets out to interview the Professor at his home in Hampshire. He is, she finds, eccentric—even impossible; but he represents a challenge and, what is more, an excuse to delay what promises to be a trying holiday in Paris. She stays on to tame and to organize him—a less formidable task than she had imagined; in fact, she grows fond of him.

Story
Do you believe in fate? What if your fate was actually determined by something small - something like, what counter you used in a game of Monopoly? Troy Thompson is a former F1 driver who now drives taxis (because he missed the high speeds and risk taking) and used to be the little pewter car when he played Monopoly with five others back at the Silver Sands Caravan Park in Whitley Bay, in 1985. Now, 25 years later, the six friends are drawn back to the camp by something - something ethereal, something dark. Does it have something to do with fate? Kismet? Yoga? The friends' old Ouija board?

Here, the master of 20th century English humor, P. G. Wodehouse, presents two of his most beloved classics: The Inimitable Jeeves and My Man Jeeves. The perpetually befuddled Bertie Wooster and his knight-in-shining-tuxedo Jeeves have long been hailed as the greatest literary creations of P. G. Wodehouse, the most popular English humorist in history. Here are two complete novels, the latter containing a handful of short stories featuring Reggie Pepper, an early prototype for Bertie.

Great Story!
This is a quirky little story based in Flagger Beach, Florida about the comings and goings surrounding a local Kokomo Cafe. Have you ever thought about the stories a Cafe owner could tell or even any local tourist business? This book has several shorter stories in it all about characters that visit the Kokomo Cafe.
I quite enjoyed listening to these stories. My favorite tale was the one about the motorcycle guys with the custom made pool stick (the case made to look like a gun bag), and how it got the owner of the Kokomo Cafe all agitated
The author, Armand Rosamilia did a good job writing this book which got my attention from the start. The narrator, Jack de Golia did a great job delivering this book to us with all his different voices, accents and emotions. Good job guys!

Great story to escape life with! Loved it!
Having read this story a few times(I love to visit this cozy little spot from time to time) I decided to give the audible version a try and am so glad I did! The story itself is awesome but adding in this narrator? It just brought the book more alive than what I had playing in my head while reading. If you are looking for a great escape, especially if you live in the stormy areas of the country right now and can't get to Florida, then get a copy of Kokomo's Cafe and just relax. Review: Welcome to The Kokomo Café, a quaint little place with good food, drinks and meals served with a smile! Come on in and meet the owners. Mac and Ginny who cook, serve and are just about the friendliest people you will meet anywhere. You never know who you will meet here from locals to out of towners. It could be just about anyone from an author sitting alone in a corner, deep in concentration on his next book or maybe even a hit man. Like I said you never know who will show up. The stories are fun and give you the feeling that you are sitting at a table with a tall ice cold glass of sweet tea watching the world come and go through the eyes of the author. I found this book to be a fun, light read that kept my interest with the stories of the individuals we meet. It was a great way to spend a stormy, cold day inside and reading about the beaches and sunshine…wishing I was there!

A nice trip to the beach
A fun series of short stories set around Kokomo’s Café in Flagler Beach FL. The characters are fun and interesting and the stories take you to the beach no matter where you are. If you’re looking for a short little escape this might just be your tonic.
At first I really didn't like the narration but he kind of grew on be after a while. In the end its not the best but not the worst. It doesn't take away my enjoyment of the story nor add to it.

Kokomo's Cafe
Any additional comments? I enjoyed this fast read .The story is set in a cafe in a beach town.We get to meet the owners and customers who frequent the place.I WAS hoping for more beachy fun, maybe in the next book.It is narrated by Jack de Golla, who did a fine job with character voices.I do plan on reading the next book in this series.
