Summary

Workaholic wildlife photographer + loner bear shifter + Alaskan wilderness = one warming and sensual story.

Nessa Morrison is a city girl born and bred, traveling the world as a wildlife photographer. Always looking at life through a lens, she never has time to stop and appreciate the world. And the last thing on her mind has been finding romance.

James Masters lives the quiet life on his own, and that's the way that he and his bear like it. He has pushed aside any thoughts of a mate or companionship...until Nessa walks into his life.

As the storm clouds roll in, can their slowly rising passion bring their two very different worlds together? Will the love in their hearts overcome the doubts in their minds?

This is a warm, sensual standalone bear shifter romance. No cliffhangers!

Narration

I don’t know how this book ends as the narration was so bad I gave up. I have never given a bad review before but I cannot help but give it this time. I wish I had listened to the sample, but I enjoy this author and never thought for a moment that I would dislike anything she did

Good book, horrible narration

This is a short sweet book about a photographer from the city who comes out to a wooded error and meets a man named James who is also a bear shifter. James knows immediately that Nissan is the make he never thought he'd find. The two have an instant connection and a HEA with a few bumps in the road.
The books narration was horrible. Probably in my top 5 worst narrations. The book was read in dual POV and seemed completely disjointed. I finished the whole audio and it just got worse.
I would recommend the kindle version over the audio. I really need to start listening to the samples before buying the audio.

Good book.

This was confusing to me in several spots. I am certain that I heard the heroine being referred to as "he" several times. I wish it hadn't been so short.

Should've read reviews! Really horrible narration!

Narration ruined the book beyond all repair. Female narrator was slightly better but not much. This was most likely the worst narration I experienced so far. So, read other reviews and try the sample before buying. Even if it's a free audio book, my time (or yours) is not. Book as such is solid but far from good. I can't really swallow eternal love in 24 hours scenario. Even in shifter romance.

bad accents

barely got through part 1, its set in Alaska, not Scotland nor Ireland. For the love please get the accent and dialects correct when narrating. It completely ruined this one.

Horrible Narration

Male mumbles & too quite. Like a timid Scott with marbles in his mouth. Female audio is clearer/louder, but in contrast with the male voice is quite a shock. Not sure why they caste the accents not matching the story.

Hard to understand

I really like this author but the narrators were hard to understand. Good thing I did not buy this book but in the romance package.
