Love this series, the complexity of characters and the way those characters are weaved into such huge historical events is superb

Yorke is a fantastic narrator and the story is captivating as per usual. If by now you too have been following the story I can now say I was almost brought to tears by the death of Alfred in the previous book and for me that is a sign of a talented writer.
