The narration was good but there’s not a lot to do when the raw material isn’t too great. An ok story but it lacked some finesse in the writing and several passages just felt like they weren’t there for any other purpose than to hastily explain stuff (often a bit on the nose) that had been missed as to attempt to avoid obvious plot holes.

I started with the Dare Nation series, thinking I'd give it a go as It was included in my subscription. I loved it and was amazed to realise how many other stories there were. I was torn as to whether I should go back to the beginning of the series, or continue on. I opted to hear Linc and Jordan's story as I wanted to hear more about Aurora and the family she didn't know she had. The story and narration was great. I intend to listen to all the books in the series now, continuing on and then at the end listening to the beginning I didn't realise existed.

A nice easy listen, the perfect palate cleanser from some heavy reads. Not too much drama which is nice. There were a few inconsistencies in the story that pulled me out and back to reality, but overall I enjoyed it. Plus Connor Crais? Yeah. He could read me The Yellow Pages and I'd be enthralled - an excellent choice to elevate the text.
