What made the experience of listening to Julie the Rockhound the most enjoyable?

The narration by Donna German is very good. This very short story is a perfect introduction to the world of crystals and the fun and fascination gained from learning.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the interaction between Julie and her father. They appeared to be inspired by each other! Young children and early readers will be encouraged to find out more about the fascination of crystals!

What does Donna German bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Donna's narration is very precise and clear. It certainly brings-out the warmth between Julie and her father.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really, but I liked the humour in this short story - particularly by Julie.
