I enjoyed this book but got frustrated at times with the attention to irrelevant information. However it made sense to include it as the story progresses. Why does the possibility of demonic oppression never enter the equation when trying to find a “reason” for killings such as this. You can research every psychological angle but none fits. The soul holds the answer. This can only be found by means of spiritual examination, via a priest or minister. However the participant has to be willing to cooperate. The presence of the evil entity which may have taken root either with or without the persons consent, will usually do all in its power to prevent any revelation. I strongly believe that Robert was under such oppression. His ability and determination to draw Jim in and pull him into evil is evidence of this. I’m glad they were separated and that Jim was able to be set free from the demonic influence. I wish him continued healing and good fortune .
