Being in a difficult position right now, I often get trapped in an anxious state that is hard to get rid of, especially when this world is always pushing me a little further into it. Everyone wants everything right now, and that comes at a cost. One of the few things I’ve found that really works to help me return to a relaxed state is progressive muscle relaxation, and this audiobook is a great companion for my relaxation sessions. It provides guided journeys through cozy places I’ve never been to but would love to visit.

My favorite was the one about drifting over a quiet river. I could almost feel the soft, cold water around my toes and fingers and listen to the gentle murmuring of the small waves, while my mind felt empty in a soothing sense of calm and fullness.
