Summary

Jakub Tamtudy je malý kluk, který neměl zatím v životě moc štěstí. Tety Brčková a Bečková, u kterých vyrůstá, jsou ohavné babice, které mu odpírají veškerou zábavu. Když však potká na zahradě podivného mužíčka s kouzlem v papírovém pytlíku, jeho život se změní. Na staré broskvoni, která nikdy neměla plody, se jako zázrakem urodí broskev nevídaných rozměrů. Když se Jakub jednou večer dostane tunelem až k pecce, zjistí, že kouzlo zasáhlo i některé hmyzí obyvatele zahrady, kteří teď v broskvi žijí. Společně s novými kamarády se rozhodne od hrozných tet utéct a v obří broskvi procestovat svět. A tak se přes moře i vzduchem tato neobvyklá skupinka dostane z Anglie až do samotného New Yorku.
