I listen that it is very important

I listen that it is very important not only to have a proper diet, drink the right drinks, but also to do the exercises, as well as to control calories. Good mood, healthy sleep also affect weight loss.

Great book.

Great book. I love that my dog likes the weight gainer in his food. He is a very funny eater but he eats this like crazy. I bought this for our German shepherd that kept loosing weight and it really seems to have helped put some pounds on her! Highly recommend this book.

This is a directional book.

This is a directional book. Great requests are clear requests. This is everything calories: eat anything you desire and get more fit quickly, you will see that there won't be an impossible joke to get thinner. The writers can affirm everything about this book. I would prescribe this book and read more books from this writer.

It is very important to pay attention

It is very important to pay attention to what you eat and how many calories this food has, for example, say french fries, chips are very calorie, and if you drink a sweet drink, then the number of calories per meal exceeds the daily rate. Of course, to lose weight, you must change your lifestyle, have a healthy diet, exercising regularly.

science based analysis of last 200 yrs of diets

I love how he goes back and looks at every scientific study done for diets, and shows how they overlooked or excluded very important data points. it really calls into question the authenticity of the medical community on diets, and makes it seem more akin to a religious group

superb

a seminal work about fat metabolism, obesity and its real causes, nutrition in general, the preconceptions in the medical community and how they were formed, all based on science, scientific anecdotes or medic records. it's impressive how poor the advices we get from the media and the biggest health organizations still are. the book is an absolute "must read".

What a fantastic book?

I’ve been studying nutrition for about seven years in this book would easily be my favorite to recommend after about 150 different diet and nutrition books. Wow, what an incredible compilation of relevant information in the story of why diet advice carries so widely and why low carbohydrate diets should get the research funding it deserves.

The history and research presented here was thorough and enlightening. This book along with several others in this field of research have made me question everything we assume is true and the reality that it is mostly false. I would recommend to anyone looking for the details and the data.

Finally the truth....

Hopefully the scientific community will have the courage to test this hypothesis. Having lost 40 lbs on a carbohydrate restricted diet, the proof is in the pudding. And for the record my HDL improved and my LDL decreased with more fat in my diet.

It is good to learn

This was an excellent choice for someone who wants to work on their self-esteem. It provides easy steps and excercises to do and apply to everyday which will help. I have already noticed a difference in the way I feel about myself. This is also a great choice for therapists, counselors, etc. to use with their clients. I will definitely be doing so.

Very insightful

Excellent if you're new to figuring out how to be a little better than yesterday. I'm very familiar with this style of habit change & think it's profound in its own right.... but most people don't believe it can work as well as it does. This is because most people are of the all or nothing mentality. However, when you're beholden to the all or nothing thinking.... you more likely than not, end up with nothing!

Absolutely love this book!

The things I absolutely loved about this book are that it all made perfect sense, it was so interesting, easy to understand and follow and, not only made me want to change my eating habits but MADE me change my eating habits.
