Every time someone asks Gwen about her best friend – you know, the one who ghosted them all fifteen years ago – this is what Gwen tells them.

But where is Isabella? Why did she leave, just when Gwen needed her the most?

Setting out to solve the mystery, in an adventure that takes Gwen across the country then across Europe; that tests her friendships and strains her marriage, Gwen searches for Isabella.

But Isabella's not the only one who's lost. Is Gwen also searching for… herself?

If you’re familiar with and have enjoyed Beth Morrey’s previous books you won’t be disappointed. I love the humour, it frequently made me laugh out loud while dog walking, the narrator is excellent and times it all perfectly. The story kept me intrigued without being intense or heavy which is exactly what I was hoping for. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This book is well written, I can't deny that. Unfortunately, it dragged on ... and on ... and on. Two dimensional characters. Meandering, dull story. Halfway though I was tempted to just stop listening, but didn't. I wish I had! I'm pretty cross I paid for this.
On the plus - the narration was good.

Probably the most tedious book I've ever read
