Story
Atheists are launching a new wave of attacks against Christianity and faith in God. It's hard to know how to handle their claims that they have a more enlightened, scientific, and sophisticated worldview. How can you respond with precision to arguments against your faith? With instructive clarity, Dr. Louis Markos confronts the modern-day atheists' claims that new evidence disproves the existence of God. In fact, you will find that the "proof" they peddle is not new at all. Rather, they recycle claims that have already been disproven by Christian thinkers of the past.

Those who are confused about morality are progressive pioneers. Those who are confused about spirituality are praised as tolerant. Conversely, those who express certainty about any of these issues are seen as bigoted, oppressive, arrogant, or intolerant.

Story
Skeptics believe we don’t need God to understand reality, and that science and reason hold the keys to building a better world. Faith is blind, and there is no credible evidence for God’s existence - especially the God of the Bible. Therefore, science and religious belief are deeply incompatible, and God is no longer relevant to our modern world. But if there is no God, how can our lives have any meaning? How can we make sense of good and evil, truth, justice, beauty, rationality, or even science itself?

The Bible predicts that in the last days a charismatic leader will establish a global following in the name of peace. The Qur’an also predicts that a man will rise up to lead the nations, pledging to usher in an era of peace. The man in the Qur’an is called the Mahdi, or Islam’s savior. However, the man in the Bible is the Antichrist. Joel Richardson’s stunning research and analysis suggest that the Mahdi and the Antichrist are actually one and the same.

The fact that nearly half of the American population apparently believes this...should be considered a moral and intellectual emergency."

One of my favourite books
- By Mike on 10-01-17
Summary
From USA Today best-selling author Anthony DeStefano, an entertaining retort to atheism and its proponents, revealing the intellectual bankruptcy at atheism's core and equipping Christians to respond to its hollow arguments.
A witty and devastating takedown of the "new" atheist position, Inside the Atheist Mind debunks the theories of Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, and others, revealing how inconsistent, illogical, and frankly ludicrous their conclusions truly are. Poking fun at atheists in a clever and intelligent way, Anthony DeStefano demonstrates just how full of holes the new atheism is and reveals that it is actually a "religion" of its own, complete with a creed, a set of commandments, a rigid moral code, and rewards and punishments. More than that, DeStefano exposes that atheism is itself a "superstition" of the worst kind.
Using irony and a healthy dose of playful sarcasm, Inside the Atheist Mind lampoons, teases, and deflates the atheist position, unmasking it for what it is - an empty, intellectually barren philosophy, devoid of any logic and common sense.

Informative and well thought out, essential
Superbly researched and excellent at exposing the massive holes in atheist arguments. Throws real light on those hellbent on the destruction of any belief in God. An absolute must have in this day and time to defend and explain the faith, whilst answering strongly claims made by supposed atheist “experts” and their ideologies

EMBARRASSING
Let me start by saying that i am not an atheist , i believe there is a God but mine would be embarrassed of this type of argument or "defense" even more when trying to beat down on a dead man that is not here no more to defend himself. You should be ashamed of calling yourself christian or catholic or whatever religion , this not what He expects from us.
This is a clear testament to what poison religious fanatics try to feed the people. And i am not defending the atheist but you can not fight hate with hate, this kind of thinking is what is destroying us.

Hypocritical Ending
I agree with the majority of how today's Atheist act, like bullies, they are unable to open to all the positive acts of organized religions throughout human history. Yet the author says Athiest try to convert, but yet I thought this book was not to convince people how to think about God with their personal bias. DeStefano is totally taking a conversion stance of Christianity in the last few chapters, which is highly hypocritical. That is just a double-edged sword in my view, which he wants to make unavoidable. Conversion really takes "Free-Will" away, if you really think about it.
Myself, as a Spiritual Deist (Deism, a philosophical religion), I do believe in a higher power, just in a strong logical and reasonable understanding without dogma or superstition. Yes, I do understand that religious scripture should NEVER be taken literally, but metaphorically. So that said, I enjoyed the book.

A reversed hitch clap (what goes around comes around)
This book was a deep insight into the rage of atheism. I always walked around as a Christian with the idea that I have to rationalize god or else it is silly to believe in him. This deep frustration has been lifted from my shoulders as I listened to this book bringing the darkness to the light. It is uncensored brutal honesty towards those who mock the religious. Don’t think that you will as much empowerment in your atheism once you finish the book even though it doesn’t disprove it or proves Christianity.

Straight Talk About Atheism
Overall very enjoyable. A bit crass at times but I get the intent of being unapologetic to an unapologetic atheist. His message is directed at a certain group of atheists so readers shouldn't assume all atheists act the way this group that he references. It'll take a few more read throughs to pick up on all the content given included what's between the lines but at least the author provides a lively reading of his own work.

A Refreshing and Unapologetic Look at Atheism
I've read a number of books on Religion, Spirituality and Atheism, but this is a truly unique one. The author is honest in his introductory note: this not an attempt to prove the existence of God - there are other books for that. This is a comprehensive analysis of the New Atheists. It is brutally precise in citing historical facts and figures to explain their emptiness. The author is as direct as possible, showing the weaknesses of the position.
This edition as read by the author, and he does so perfectly. It is a smooth read. I have already recommended it.

Really great read
Great intellectual but light response to aggressive atheism. I appreciated the clear refutation if common statements about religion causing more harm than good. I also appreciated the way he exposed actual quotes from atheists like Sam Harris supporting the killing of religious people and disabled people systematically. Great read.
