Paola moved her glasses up from the ridge of her nose, where they had slid down to over the course of the evening lecture. The day was sweltering, and the heat almost overrode the air conditioning, so she was glad when her classes for the day were finally over. She glanced to her right.
Stretched out on the seat with his laptop propped up on his knees and a pair of expensive headphones covering his ears, Francesco was nodding to the beat of the song to which he was listening.
