I really enjoyed listening to this story. This was a very easy read with very relatable characters and an interesting storyline. I liked the development of the relationship between Rebecca and Emma amid Rebecca attempting to navigate her career and coming out to her family. Add some cute pets and humour into the mix for an overall enjoyable experience.

I love reading books by Lize Gold. They are always well written and stories you don’t want to put down.
I found myself thinking about the main characters, a lot, during my day to day life. I had previously read this book on kindle unlimited, though had forgotten how it stirred memories of feelings that I had when first coming out and first introducing my girlfriend to my family. It’s so well written and captured that feeling of believing you can face anything and anyone because you are so love and believe you have been waiting your whole life to feel this amazing. To just fit, with another woman, like two jigsaw pieces fitting together.
Looking forward to more books from Lize Gold ❤️

Okay listen, not one of Lise Gold's best. I'm not sure the narrator was the right choice so the jury is out on that for me.
The story is predictable and I like that there is not that much angst. This is a gentle love story.

having suffered nightmares for yrs, this wonderful story of finding the inner you, was so relaxing , warm, and a very cute romance, made so by the excellent tones of tessa stavers.
morning tv star seeks help from dream therapist and has an immediate reaction, one she's never felt for a man, and frowned upon by her Indian parents. when the press begin following them and publishing speculative rumours, they end therapy client, but both have feelings they can't ignore. do they hide a relationship, and can Rebecca come out of the closet?
