Throughout I have been keeping a weekly check-in journal. When check-ins were mentioned in the book I couldn't help but grin. The book is very human, it almost feels like the author is trying to have a conversation with the reader which is what I needed - someone to give me a good talking to. I feel like the book has allowed me to simply grow up. My weight is coming down, my house is cleaner than ever, I have more mental clarity than ever and it's all down to getting real with myself and having discipline to follow things through.
