About this listen
Everyone has a routine. But what if someone was watching your every move? Exploring the universal theme of fear, I See You, is a tense, electrifying thriller that will keep you looking over your shoulder. This audiobook will have you enthralled for hours and is a must-listen for fans of the crime genre.
When Zoe Walker sees her photo in the classifieds section of a London newspaper, she is determined to find out why it's there. There's no explanation, no website - just a grainy image and a phone number. She takes it home to her family, who are convinced it's just someone who looks like Zoe. But the next day, the advert shows a photo of a different woman, and another the day after that. Is it a mistake? A coincidence? Or is someone keeping track of every move they make?
I See You is an edge-of-your-seat psychological thriller from one of the most exciting and successful British debut talents of 2015.
©2016 Clare Mackintosh (P)2016 Little BrownThe narration by Rachel Atkins is extremely strong, clear and suited to the material. She smoothly moves the story forwards as it gradually unfolds and reveals its twists and turns. In summary this is a deeply satisfying, well produced thriller with characters that are rendered with detailed clarity and warmth by the author. What happens to them matters. What happens to them is both frightening and credible with plenty of twists and guessing games along the way.
I have no qualms whatsoever about recommending this one!

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I enjoyed the story and the narration was excellent. I was rather gripped by the whole thing. Until the antagonist was revealed (the 1st reveal, not the 2nd). I just found it so unbelievable that it spoiled the ending a bit. It could have been so much better (don't want to add spoilers)What does Rachel Atkins bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
saved me the bother of reading it myself (I often knit or crochet while listening) so I manage to do two things at once. Rachel has a wonderful, rich, expressive voice.one small change to the plot
