I love this author - I am female and I love gritty thrillers, police/cop stories of hunting down the bad guy and this book is a perfect example of it. We have a sick twisted serial killer, a smart but troubled female main character and then we have a hansom detective... Which makes for pretty good reading! If you like this author then you will know some of the characters already. Karen Rose tells a very good story, the characters are interesting and credible. Yes, there is a romantic element but the police/thriller part is by means girly! Give it a go - you wont be unhappy!
