Summary

Carter isn't sure what to call his two alien protectors. Friends? Boyfriends? Mates?

Or merely indiscriminate lovers with sexy purrs and tangling tails?

He would be lost without them, he knows that. When their home is invaded by a dangerous new kind of alien slaver, they strike out into the jungle. He depends on them for food, protection, a direction to walk in. He's helpless even for shelter and warmth.

Thankfully, his alien lovers seem devoted, but why? Carter wishes he knew their names or anything else. Like whether the attachment he's feeling is returned.

With aliens, you can't make assumptions.

Wouldn't it be nice if he could just ask?

Contains mature themes.

Listened because the narrator is my favourite!

This was better than I expected. Certainly a different type of story, I listened to book 1 included in my membership purely because I can't get enough of Joel Leslie (Froomkin) my favourite narrator of all time. Listening to him is like coming home to an amazing hug from the person you love most.

Anyway that aside, I liked this story of Carter Pykh and Seil enough to buy the 2nd and 3rd book and they were enjoyable enough that I would buy a 4th if it was to come out.

Excellent 2nd instalment in this alien world. I adore this trio and this story had me gripped and interested throughout. Well written story, excellently narrated. On to book 3 I go.

Enjoyable listen

I enjoyed listening to this more than the first book, and I’m looking forward to hearing the next one.

The adventure continues

Another very enjoyable instalment, fairly rapidly furthering the breakneck plot, in which I really resented any interruptions to constant listening.
