Chapter "Take it Easy," was very helpful. It talked about the 3-3-3 rule. It explained what to expect in the first days, weeks, and months. Today, my dog was hiding under the bed. I remembered the book. It said new dogs need time. I didn't force her out. I just sat near the bed. I talked to her softly. After a while, she came out. She wagged her tail. I felt a little relief. The book helped me be patient.
