I like how the author broke down different areas of emotional neglect, support or validation. Everyone needs support so we can either express ourselves or teach others how to increase self esteem and remove emptiness. Whether if you need to hear about peer abuse, childhood trauma or witnessed trauma this is a great audiobook. If someone has sad memories that burdens them, this is a great breakdown of understanding, finding out more of what causes triggers, that bring bad bad emotional states. I didn't think about how its more than a situation, it could be a smell, or a certain sound that could trigger an internal response. It was great to hear that some may have trauma experiences by genetic or previous generation changes even though they were never there themselves.
