What century was this written in...

I really enjoyed the first part of this book. Very informative & the techniques were described well. However in the last part...it recommends such gems as if you don’t swallow this is a great disappointment, and could lead to your man to cheat! What!!
I suspect this has been written by a man who is stuck in the 1960s.
