Summary

How to Control Co-Dependent People takes a satirical approach to shedding light upon a very dark subject: narcissistic abuse. I wrote this in 2015, and shortly thereafter, my life took a turn for the better and I put all this behind me.

I actually forgot what it was like to be codependent. Since then, I’ve gone further in my research into what underlies toxic interpersonal relationships, and I’ve learned how to identify it in government, media, religion, and corporations and the dynamic between these entities and those they control, influence, and/or enslave.

I believe the master-slave dichotomy is the fundamental struggle here, as we are born into a society that encourages and rewards lockstep conformity.

This audiobook is intended to demonstrate to those struggling with codependency just how narcissists actually view them. By hearing their “play book”, codependents should be able to recognize covert abuse and avoid its pernicious effects.

MUST LISTIN

This book is a MUST READ for people who are, or have been in a relationship with a BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER person.

You cannot imagine the damage it can leave on a person to be with a person who does the things described in this book, until you've lived it.

Even if you haven't, read the book so you are aware that people actually do abuse their partners to extreme extends.

My advice is to set your personal boundaries, and have a solid self-esteem. without those two up properly, you are nothing but prey to these people as they can feel it.

I've wasted my youth with a person described in this book and believe me it is HELL. LIVING HELL.

peace and love,

cheers to tim ozman for shining light onto this dark topic

A Great Perspective of the Narcissist

This was the best $3.95 I've ever spent. This is a great summary of narcissistic behavior, some of which I've experienced first hand.

It may be true but who wants to be that bitter.

Na. Guess I am not co-defendant because I barely made it to the 2nd chapter. It's too damn depressing and I would recommend it for teenage girls however, may prevent early teen pregnancy.

Horrible Person

Who would write this? It’s way over the top and NOT meant to save co dependent ppl. It’s more so to create a narcissistic personality. I couldn’t get through the book. His voice is hilarious and it’s quite entertaining that someone would take this seriously.

There's an IDENTICAL book!

There's another book of similar title with the exact same duration! The author is Jon Bet. So who is the author? While I enjoyed the satire, I'm obviously annoyed I bought the same book TWICE. Even if they made it different through a few words, it's the SAME story. I see this as a scam for extra sales. Obviously, I fell for it!

I Couldn't Force Myself to Listen

The guy overdid the narration viciously in an attempt to caricature a narcissistic abuser; the writing was partly to blame but the narrator really overplayed the role and made this a pretty intolerable audiobook. The writing was a bitter take on an abusive person by someone who seemed to have been hurt by one, less art and more vendetta.

The voice was actually grating to the ears and I am severely disappointed that this was recommended as I signed up with Audible. Seriously considering cancelling my membership.
