Summary

If I had to pick a bride of convenience, my first choice would not be Peach Maloney.

My 50th choice would not be Peach. Top spot on my list of occupational hazards? Yes. Royal pain in the crumpets? Yes. A bride of convenience? No.

But I've unexpectedly gone from royal bodyguard to monarch, having inherited a crown that was stolen from my family long before my birth. The kicker of this unexpected royal gift? In order to take the throne, I must find a wife.

Have I mentioned Peach would not have been my hundredth choice? But I've no other options, and she needs a favor that my new position can fulfill quite nicely. So we've agreed to play the doting newlyweds out in public.

In private, though, our rules are simple: No touching. No talking. And certainly no sex.

I should have known better than to marry a rule-breaker. Contains mature themes.

This needs a warning label

I’m going to do you a favour here do not eat or drink while listening. You won’t want to pause it I didn’t and ended up wearing my drink after a particular funny part.

This one is such a fantastic story with 2 characters made to be together and plenty of brilliant side characters

Absolutely spot on

I had belly ache from laughing. The balloon rides, the llama, the hearts, the tacky tacky hearts and the crazy people. Especially Victor and Peach.

hilarious enemies to lovers

At last Peach and Viktor get their own story and what a rollercoaster it is. With reclaiming a lost throne, hot air balloon rides, a marriage of convenience there's plenty to keep you gripped to this story. (Oh I nearly forgot about the llamas!)
Excellent narration throughout, especially Viktor's description of his naughty parts!!!! Highly recommended 💕💕💕💕

Good despite it had parts which dragged.

You will get a good laugh out of this. but then it drags in spots. I never did find a spot of liking for the teen.

Damn Hot Air Balloons

Super cute! One reviewer said they laughed the whole time, I will tell you that there was some funny parts in the book but I have laughed harder at a couple of other books by Pippa. BUT just because I didn’t laugh through this whole book does not mean I did not enjoy it!

Laughed out loud

Really enjoy Pippa Grant's (& the combination works with Lili Valente) stories, this one is laugh out loud, funny and not too short!

Needs a better male narrator

Male narrator sounded like a sissy. And, to boot, “twig & berries” & “tallywacker” coming from Stephen Dexter, really took away from the romance. The female narrator, Emma Wilder, made a sexier sounding male than the male narrator. She could’ve read the whole book flawlessly. The Prologue of Mimaw was the best part the book.

Pippa Grant is the Queen of Hot Rom-Com

This book is more than worth a credit! I love this book so very much.
Peach is an independent young lady and along with her little sister Papaya have a sad past.
Peach has to marry in order to be given full custody of the troublesome Papaya.
Victor needs a wife in order to rule Amoria, his parents once ruled! Amoria kingdom of love and endless hearts ♥️😁
Okay I’m not saying anymore because this book is sooo very funny!!! I loved everything about this book, the characters and narrative 😆 the storyline.
Fred the Alpaca 🦙😂 among other animals.
The Narrators ❤️🔥 Stephen Dexter is perfect, his English accent and then his female voice is perfect and whoever doesn’t love Emma Wilder? Are just crazy!!
Ohh and the Epilogues are priceless 😁♥️

Twigs n Berries

I have really liked the previous books in this story line and this was okay, but I cringed with the number of times i heard twig n berries or tallywacker! Those are just not words i want in my romance repeatedly. Once for comedic effect i can understand but before a steamy scene hard no. And while i am a fan of both narrators, I didn’t much like how they played each other in this story.

Torn

I always enjoy Pippa's stories and this one is no different. I also LOVE the narrator Stephen Dexter, with his smooth and sexy voice, but I had a hard time getting into his role on this particular story maybe because of the accent he used, but for me it did not match the character. the soft voices Emma used for Viktor seemed more Viktor ish. I expected a more lower voice for a man of Viktor's station, being a body Guard, then King, then comparing to the cover of the book they just didn't click for me. I did enjoy the story and it made me laugh, cry along with all of the other emotions Pippas stories give you. and this is why I took a star.

So funny!

Hot Heir was a humorous marriage of convenience story!

Peach is looking to obtain custody of her sister Papaya and a judge declares she must be married to do so. Viktor needs a wife in order to be king. Enter a fake marriage agreement and many funny (and steamy) scenes ensue. While these two start off enemies between the antics and llamas in legwarmers they find themselves drawn to one another. Another great story from this author that had many laugh out loud moments and fabulously quirky pets.

The fake relationship trope is one of my faves this one is such a fun take on it.
