He had arrived in Santa Cigüeña earlier that afternoon and had brought with him a companion, a Tarahumara girl from the canyon lands. He wouldn't be staying long, just long enough to alter the course of history before getting back to Aurora, Colorado, to iron out the details of an upcoming General Managers conference. Benedict eased his car toward the Patriarch's home. He didn't know it yet, but his whole world was about to be turned head over topsy turvy tails.
