Critic reviews

"Pimsleur programs provide plenty of positive reinforcement that will keep learners on track, and we found that Pimsleur gave us more proficiency and confidence in speaking the new language than any of the other language programs we reviewed." ( AudioFile magazine)

Dives straight in!

For me there is nothing worse than a really waffly book with far more explanation in English than the language you are learning.

Chapter 2 is a half hour lesson which is just brilliant! It starts off demonstrating a conversation in Hindi which you think crikey how long will it take for me to understand that? Weeks? Months? Years?

The sentence components are broken down so well that within 15 minutes I was really getting the hang of it!

I look forward to phase 2 & hopefully future phases will be released on Audible!

Introduction not content

This is the course introduction that is generic to the method and not Hindi itself. No content here.

Learning to speak Hindi in a fun and easy way!!!

Pimsleur's language programs are an excellent way for a beginner to dip their toe , so to speak, into learning a wonderful new foreign language. With my family and I preparing to visit India the later part of this year, the Pimsleur's learning method really makes practicing and learning Hindi fun and exciting for us!!!!

For those interested in learning Hindi, I highly recommend giving this title a try...

Encourage by this tutorial

I have struggled to learn Bengali for many years. I decided to move onto Hindi since there are more learning tools available and many of my friends and family speak Hindi in addition to English and their native language. I've enjoyed this so far and purchased the next set. Let's hope I can keep up with dinner parties and Bollywood movies soon.
