Summary

Bonfire Night. A missing girl.

Anna takes her eyes off Laurel for only a second. She thought Laurel was following her mum through the crowds. But in a heartbeat, Laurel is gone.

Laurel’s parents are frantic. As is Anna, their nanny. But as the hours pass, and Laurel isn’t found, suspicion grows.

Someone knows what happened to Laurel. And they’re not telling.

Have You Seen Her is the breathtaking new thriller with a killer twist from best seller Lisa Hall.

Critic reviews

"A dark, compelling [listen] that demands to be [finished] in one sitting." (Sam Carrington)

"An uneasy creeping feeling followed me through the book - I was never quite sure who I should be trusting - I read this book in one sitting because I had to know what was going to happen next. An excellent thriller that had me hooked from the start." (Katerina Diamond, author of The Secret)

"A classic twisting mystery from queen of suspense Lisa Hall...the epilogue delivers a wild twist...the bond between Anna and Laurel the perfect anchor for the dark investigation." (Woman’s Own)

Worth it in the End

I got half way through this book and was going to return it, the reason for this was because i just kept getting confused and had to keep replaying, there were so many characters coming into it, but not enough detail to get to know them so i just kept forgetting who was who! I think some of them I am still confused about now! Then there was the whole Ella/Pamela situation which just totally baffled me! BUT..... I kept with it, and was glad in the end that I did, the second half was much better and easier to follow, kept me gripped and I thought the ending was really good too

Another thing that confused me on the cover of the book there is a statement from BA Paris saying 'compelling, Addictive, Brilliant but it appears she is actually talking about a different one of this authors books, one called 'the party' so that confused me too

Finished it in one, but still not sure about how i

Once again, the time of writing this is 03:20AM. I really should try to stop this, shouldn't I? This was another book I had to finish in one sitting, that was a very quick 9 hours, that's for sure! One thing I've learnt from reading a lot of these, is to keep an open mind, no matter what the author would have you believe. Despite where Hall takes us here, I didn't fully believe anything, until I knew. I'm not sure about the ending to this one, although the last line is certainly true! I feel sadness, anger, disbelief all at the same time at the end of this book, for various characters, and for various reasons. But I'm still not sure about how it ended. Although Hall builds the tension up from page 1, and doesn't let you go until the last line. It was certainly one I had to finish, just so I knew, and that's the mark of a good author. Well done Lisa, another good one.

This is my 2nd book by Lisa Hall, just as amazing as the 1st. Had me hooked I couldnt put it down, double twist which I didn't see coming and very well narrated.
