Hatch

A wonderful find!

An excellent book. I was so pleased with this one. From the first chapter I knew I was going to like the entire work. Though most of the events are rather predictable, it was still a fun listen. The names of the characters, places, and other object were easy to remember yet still had an air of mystery. The only thing I wasn't overly ecstatic about was that the dragons were only grey and black, except the main character's gold dragon Folgid. I also wish the dragons could talk to the humans in the story. The only dragon to speak is Folgid, and only a few words. Still, I can wait until the second book comes out sometime this year. Stevens has revealed that it will be Forging of Bonds....hopefully it comes out soon.

I hope he writes more along this line

This story is awesome. My husband (who is blind) enjoyed this story very much. We hope to find more along these lines from this author

Heros also do bad things

Would you consider the audio edition of Hatch to be better than the print version?

I never read the printed version but I wouldn't need to read it with the performance of Tim Bruce.

What other book might you compare Hatch to and why?

Well, I could have given it another book similar but it wouldn't do it justice. I believe Hatch would be a stand alone book. you can't compare the righteous hero in hatch with the selfishness of the other books character. even if the character in the other book finally coming around at the end.

What does Tim Bruce bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Tim was perfect for this book. all characters were geared for his brand of action.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

nope but it raised my blood pressure of few times.

I would love to see a book two in this trilogy.

A perfect story

This story has everything! Romance, action, dragons and fire!!!

I loved this book. It was very well written and had relatable characters who all grew throughout the story.

A VERY GOOD LISTEN!

I really liked this book. It began a little dodgey. I don't want to give any spoilers so let's say, it began with a plot line that is very familiar if you read a lot of fantasy. However after this plays itself out, this book takes a 180 and is a "must read to the end at once" after that.
My only disappointment was it isn't a Series. The book ends with a very satisfactory ending and in the perfect way to continue this as Series... Perhaps the Authour or his publisher reads his reviews!! HINT, HINT

Fun for a family trip, and good for all ages.

What did you like best about Hatch? What did you like least?

The second half of the book was much more interesting. This is more of a fairy tail than a book, or series.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

The good guys won (for now), but nothing surprising or new.

What about Tim Bruce’s performance did you like?

Though he did a great job, very clear and did make me pass out or sleepy.

Could you see Hatch being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No, there are other books with much better story lines and characters.

This was worth the money, and a nice way to enjoy a trip with family.

Dragons return....

This was a very well written story. The storyline was different than most books I've read similar to this. I recommend it..

I loved this book!!

Just the right amount of happy and sad and fighting. I know some won’t appreciate it but very clean. Clever enough to keep my attention.
