About this listen

A Warhammer Chronicles Audiobook

In the city of Middenheim, a company of Knights of the White Wolf stand ready to defend their realm from the darkness.

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

Wage war alongside the rowdy, bawdy, and dedicated knights who worship the wolf god and stand between Middenheim and destruction.

THE STORY

Corrupted powers gather around the ancient mountaintop fortress of Middenheim, the City of the White Wolf. Danger has arisen, not at the embattled borders of the Empire, but at the beating heart itself. Only the noble Templar Knights of Ulric can drive out the darkness, but they will need unlikely help to do it. A lowly thief, a devout servant of Morr, and the Hammers of Ulric gather to defend the city.

For if Middenheim falls, the Empire falls with it.

Written by Dan Abnett, Nik Vincent, and James Wallis. Narrated by Andrew James Spooner. Runtime 14 hours and 25 minutes approx.

Amazing story, plot turns and action. Character’s were fleshed out and all had great development

1st battle, 4 score beastmen charge, 3 wolfs are bait 1 kills near a dozen, the other two smash into the ranks let's say 3 kills each, being Conservative then 10 knights rear charge it goes on to say about 1 Knight slaughtering beast men left an right yet Van damme kills3 times more than anyone else, so 9 knights let's say average 2 kills and Van dame 6kills
so far we have 11 plus 6 plus 18 plus 6 that's 41 kills being very Conservative yet there's enough beastmen to drag down Van dame and also to hinder the commander in killing the beastmen leader. just think about what your writing there really would of needed to be about 100 beastmen. seems OK so far just stuff like this in all warhammer/40k books really breaks the immersion

confused writing in battles

All be it for a rough and jarring bad first part. I througherly enjoyed this tale from the empire of men. Get through the first 30 minutes or so and a cleaver and well told story unfolds. really well read, the accents settle in!! fingers crossed for more like this!!

really enjoyed

Absolutely loved the story in all its parts. A bit confusing at the beginning but as you progress you realise how cleverly constructed all the segments are - especially as they come together in the tale's conclusion. More, more, more please!

Brilliant! More Oldworld please!
