Summary

Where do we go when we die? Everything we know about the afterlife is based on someone else’s spiritual experiences: near-death experiences (NDEs) and out-of-body experiences (OBEs) aka astral projection. Most of the information has been distorted by religious agendas, centuries of time, ancient language misinterpretations, cultural differences, and just plain lack of words for what really happened. Wouldn’t it be great if you could get your own answers without coming close to death? Now you can.

This book will teach you how to temporarily exit your physical body and explore the world beyond.

Many books claim to teach you how to induce OBEs, but fail to deliver. Most sell you superstitious nonsense, occult rituals, or new-age mumbo-jumbo. Even the best seem to parrot the same stale techniques that don’t work, and usually without any explanation of how they’re supposed to work. This book is different.

Hacking the Out of Body Experience is the best and most complete collection of no-nonsense techniques to induce OBEs. There is no cruft. It's 100-percent OBE techniques, based on Peterson's 40 years of firsthand experience, solid principles of neuroscience, bio-hacking, and information gleaned from all the experts in the field. Best of all, each technique contains a detailed explanation of the principles behind it and how it works.

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Very detailed information on OBE

I don't think you need any other book on OBE because he covers almost every thing you need to learn the OBE and he explains a lot of techniques on OBE that will keep you active and focus for a long time till you find out what works for you to have your own OBE.
I strongly recommend "Hacking the Out of Body Experience" and will save you a lot of time and confusion.

One of the best books on OBE's

I've read many books on OBE's and this is one of the most thorough ones. It has information not found in other books. He discusses OBE's from a scientific standpoint. Everything from food, vitamins, sex, sleep, drugs and so many other things that affect the ability to have an OBE are discussed. And of course various techniques to try. I put this book up there with the likes Buhlman because it's so thorough.

Must Read (or Listen) Book for OBE Students

This is probably one of the best books on OBE/astral projection that I've ever read or listened to. It's a completely practical guide that has no "filler" material like most other non-fiction books do. Every single chapter serves its purpose and can help you get closer to achieving the out of body experience.

I like that the Audible version of this book has all of the chapters written out in the table of contents on the app, so it's easy to go back and listen to the parts you want to without having to search around or amass a gazillion bookmarks.

Narration was excellent as well. I was able to go back and listen to the book at 2.6X speed and still understand every word.

If you want to learn how to have OBE's, then this is a must read/listen book.

Best Astral Projection Book I've Ever Listened To

I've listened to a decent amount of books about astral projections and lucid dreaming but this one by far takes the cake. it has so many pointers and tips as well as a great analytical explaination as to how astral projections even manifest. After listening to about 2/3rds of the book I tried the basic approach of just letting the hypnogogic images come and go and all of a sudden I'm 1 foot away from my ceiling for a second and then back into my body with my body! I'm really impressed and I feel that you really dont need any other book but this one.

get it

Awesome narrator. I've read every book ever on this subject and can say this is an excellent amalgamation. Instead of reading 20 books all you need is this one.

‘Science’ based.

I struggled with how to rate this book.
While it is full of good information, pleasantly read, and relevant, I had a hard time with the way he demeaned spiritual aspects of the study.
It also put me to sleep each time I tried to listen to it.
But, I can’t blame him for that.
In the end, after another jab to “woo woo“ I just gave up and decided to return it.

Melcore

I love it, some times we need more reinforcement to get what we are looking for, and this books give us the skills to facilitate the OBE’s thanks for sharing Robert, God Bless You.

tedious, acronym's constantly,

i was really interested in this book and subject. i made it to three chapters and will have no more. constant acronym's when just saying the word or item would be easier. then mentioning what is being discussed will be covered in future chapters. just kicking the can down the road along with ridiculous suggestion . really tedious. no thanks
