Story
Kat Stevens is a slightly insecure, mostly bored technical writer who likes her cat a lot more than her boss. She hasn't laid eyes on her great aunt Abigail since she was eight, so she's stumped when she inherits Abigail's house in the small hamlet of Alpine Grove. Kat's uncomplicated life gets decidedly less so when she discovers the inheritance comes with some hairy conditions: four dogs and five cats that her aunt wanted her to love as her own. Of course, the house smells like a barn - with a touch of antique skunk - and, naturally, has serious roof issues.

Summary
Angel-in-training Grace Lightbourne is on cloud nine after receiving her halo only to learn she won't be returning to Earth anytime soon because of a Guardian downsizing. She'd hoped that her apprenticeship meant she was done with Angel School, but now she's forced to return to her classes. So, it comes as no surprise when she's called to Archangel Michael's office for speaking her mind. It simply means another detention to be served. Instead, she's blessed with a miracle, an opportunity to take a new assignment in New York City. With only one mission behind her, can Grace resist the temptations of the Big Apple?
Grounded!, the second book in the lighthearted Angel in Training series, features your favorite characters from Winging It! - Mercy, Faith, Aisha, and, of course, Victor - all supporting Grace as she continues her quest for wings.

Very Sweet
I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I confess that I haven't yet read book one in this series, but I really enjoyed this book and I understood it pretty well without reading book one.
I really like Grace, the main character. She isn't perfect and she has wishes (about angel hierarchy) and desires (many about getting her wings and boys) and is shown to grow over the novel. I also really liked Mercy, and how her friendship with Grace is out of the ordinary, considering their angel professions are at loggerheads.
I did listen to the audiobook and while Stephanie Fritz was a good narrator, the audio quality wasn't the best. There was a persistent level of static throughout and it was quite irritating. If the novel hasn't been as good as it was, I would have stopped listening.

A Delightful continuation of the series
I was given book 2 because i requested it in return for an unbiased review so obviously I bought book one to know where things stood in the series. The series follows Grace is a a charming, kind and well...angelic angel. She is really excited to become a Guardian. She has her Halo a,next step: wings. Angels are forbidden to have relationships with each other.Which is Sad as she has feelings for another angel and he feels the same.Time flew by reading this and Stephanie Fritz was a delight to listen to.All in all An adorable series that I will continue to follow .

Cute Teen/YA Fantasy with Angels
This was a really cute story with a captivating main character. Teen/YA is one of my favorite genres. It was a fun to listen and it kept me interested.
Narration was well done and it brought the story to life.
This was my first book in this series and I had no problems understanding everything. I will probably listen to the first one as well. It is part of a series put you can listen to it as a stand alone as well.
Grace is a sweet and curious angel. She cares about humans and it is looking forward to becoming a guardian. She has just gotten her Halo and is looking forward to getting her wings. I'm curious why Angels are forbidden to date or have relationships with each other, yet her and another angel have feelings for each other.
Very sweet laid back teen/YA Tale. If you enjoy teen books about Angels you should give this series a try.

Cute story with an interesting leading character
What did you like best about Grounded! More Confessions of an Angel in Training? What did you like least?
This was a sweet story and the narration was good but I found it very annoying when she continuously had to interrupt with her statement "confession" before making her confession.
Would you be willing to try another book from Shel Delisle? Why or why not?
Yes, I believe I would. I'd like to listen or read the first book in this series.
Was Grounded! More Confessions of an Angel in Training worth the listening time?
I think so. It wasn't one of my favorite books but it was worth listening to
Any additional comments?

What an angelic story
I was gifted this audio ARC for a honest and unbiased review from the author/narrator.
Shel Delisle did a good job at writing this book about angles and their jobs! Grace has earned her guardian status, has her halo and wants to get her wings. This is a cute story and Graces character made me lol a couple times.
Stephanie Fritz did an absolutely beautiful job of narrating this story. She is great at voices and makes the story come to life for the listeners.
I highly recommend this audio book to you to spend your credits on.

An ok series
What does Stephanie Fritz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Ms. Fritz keeps the story alive.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Grace goes against Arch Angel Michael and goes back to earth because she cannot desert her mission.
Any additional comments?
I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. I love the concept of this series but it seems a little dry but I'll continue to listen to each book that comes out.
