🎧📚🎧 And for this amazing audiobook production and listen performed in duet by an equally amazing cast, the lineup of talent included Amy Hall, Heather Firth, Sean Masters, Devon Ryder, Edward Black, and Sebastian York. Most reprised their roles from the original series, with Firth performing Blake’s role, and Masters performing the roles of Zayden, Dom and Asher, both killing it in their roles. Speaking of killing it their roles, Black continues to nail it as Vincent, Ryder as Liam still has it, playful and confident as ever, York shines in his roles as both Ronan and Wesley, and last but not least, Amy Hall as Skyla continues to shine in the role as well. You could not ask for a better cast to bring these characters to life, each embodying their character’s personality completely and conveying all their emotions in their performance, making you feel it all. They are entertaining storytellers, and their captivating performance rivets you to the story while taking the story to another level.

I had the best time with this book. Loved seeing the Graves brothers, Blake, and The Gallow Hill Gang again. This is not a cutesy Christmas book...it's unhinged, and dark, and well... I loved it lol

What stood out most was just how easy this was to follow, despite a large cast and multiple POVs. That’s a testament to having six narrators and, importantly, using consistent voice actors across the wider universe. Returning narrators like Amy Hall as Skyla and Heather Firth as Blake add a strong sense of continuity, while Sean Masters reprising his role for the Griggs brothers and other male characters helps everything feel grounded and familiar. Each character has a clear, distinct voice, which makes following the story effortless even when a lot is happening.
Overall, immersive reading was absolutely the way to go here. The narrators elevate the humour, sharpen the emotional beats, and bring the author’s voice to life in a way that genuinely enhances the experience. It feels less like listening to a standalone novella and more like stepping back into a world you already know.
TL;DR on the story itself: this is a lighter, festive return to the Graves universe that balances humour, found family chaos, spice, and emotional beats really well. It’s fast-paced, easy to follow despite multiple POVs, and rewards listeners who already know the world while still being enjoyable as a standalone Christmas novella. The tone leans playful, but the character depth and relationships are very much still there, which made it a joy to listen to.
