I persevered with this to the end, but it's not something I'd recommend. The story had good a and bad bits, some nice surprises but mostly predictable. The narration was poor, very flat and with awkward timing and cadence. I give the narrator 2 stars since he did try to inject a bit of personality into some characters, but the end result was unsatisfying.

I do a lot of driving for a living so this was a good pick , fantasy story that contains a nice mix of Dragons, magic and adventure. Starts off with a young girl who develops magical powers and has to go on the run from an evil empire and introduces a mix of characters who are memorable and you can't help but want to know more about.
