This is genuinely the only book you’ll ever need to read or listen to on the icon. It covers her early life and later years in great detail and has been updated since publication to reflect the recent (at the time) news items about her. It flew by.

Lots of detail confirming what is already in the public domain. This poor lady and her life were a hot mess. Some weird pronunciations of commonplace words by the narrator which are mildly irritating.

Must read for anyone interested in Marilyn or political affairs of the 60's and an insight to Hollywood. A well written book which tells the story of the adult icon Marilyn Monroe's life. It unfolds the highs and lows, and sadness which is rooted in her difficult childhood. A troubled soul, leading to problematic relationships and drug taking. Her journey for love. infidelity and suffering heartbreak/s. A quest to being taking seriously as an actor and not only known for her physical beauty. Entanglements with politics, persons, and her final hours... Certainly provides evidence and the reasons for a potential cover up...
