    The book gives you very useful insights into the psychology of communication.
    The title says it all: this is a guide for all of us who are trying to get a point across.
    It can be of great help in a variety of situations, e.g. preparing presentations or speeches, handling conflict, working in sales/ marketing/ politics, applying for jobs, educating kids.
    This book can help you to significantly improve your effectiveness when communicating. You will understand others better and will be able to get your own ideas across to other people.
    It is a very coherent, comprehensive and easy-to-understand guide and surely one of the most useful books I have come across in my life.

    Thought provoking in places, though definitely showing it's age now. But if there's an updated version for the 21st century, it'd probably be worth a shot.
