About this listen

Should we stay, or should we go? Millions of parents with children in public schools can't believe they're asking this question. But they are. You should be asking it, too.

Almost overnight, America's public schools have become morally toxic. They are especially poisonous for the hearts and minds of children from religious families of every faith - ordinary families who value traditional morality and plain old common sense. Parents' first duty is to their children - to their intellect, their character, their souls. The facts on the ground point to one conclusion: Get out now.

We made the decision to home-educate our children based on common sense rather than any specific political concern at the time. It is common sense for children to be at home with their family and not in the company, care or influence of the state.I downloaded this book as it was recommended by a Catholic Vlog I follow (Mother Miriam on Life Site News). Wow am I glad I did! And wow I am glad very very very glad our children did not go to the hands of any institution. I had no idea just how deep and troubling the education system is! This book does important work in using example after example of what is actually at work and why you should 'get out now!'. Extraordinary book which really needs to be read/listened to by every parent, everywhere.

The situation is much worse than I thought

The first hour was much of what I already knew, the second is where it got interesting. Though I am from the UK, and this book is primarily about the US schooling system there are similarities. I thought I had already knew how bad it could get, but I was wrong.

Any parents who are undecided about homeschooling or sending their kids to public school must read this, I am certain you'll make up your mind a few chapters in.
