I would recommend this book to geologists and non geologists alike, at first I wasn't so sure how i felt about an American narrator, but once you get past that, it's a really good book.

Really good book, Jan is a great writer.

Great book for anyone with an interest in the Earth and natural world. Topics are addressed from basics to comprehensive levels, in a clear and informative way.
Narration was clear, but could have been more engaging.

Could have been more interesting if not read by what sounds like an A.I. Voice. It’s a dry text made more dry by this irritatingly robotic narration. Disappointing because in the end I couldn’t listen anymore.
