Listener received this title free

A really strong follow-up to the first book. This one digs deeper into the history of Bradoon while keeping the action and dark fantasy feel that hooked me the first time. The story of Cloutus was powerful and sometimes heavy, but it added a lot of depth to the world. Morius is still a great character to follow, and I enjoyed how his journey and bond with his steed gave balance to the darker moments. The narration was solid again and kept me listening all the way through. If you liked Dawn of Chaos, this one is definitely worth it.
