Summary

In surviving the horrors onboard the Eisenstein, Nathaniel Garro proved his courage and absolute loyalty to the Emperor. On his return to Terra, Garro is despatched on a mission of even greater importance - a mission given to him by Malcador the Sigillite himself.

He soon finds himself back amongst the stars and on the fields of battle, thrust into a warzone where the Ultramarines are purported to be battling a greenskin invasion. Once again Garro must fight for survival, but now he also fights to achieve a higher purpose....

AMAZING!!!

Just amazing!!! I was supposed to be working on something important... this was supposed to be background, by pure bum luck I'm actually on the 19th book of the Horus Heresy so the timing fits ... it was just EPIC!!!!

Bit disjointed but Garro carries it through

Garro again shows he is a boss. Appearing in a no hope battle with his mission at odds to those around him but never taking actions that do not help them. The score and supporting soundtrack is a bit hit and miss, the narration especially of Malkador is awful - but does not detract from an enjoyable short story.

Nothing Extraneous

The way Horus Heresy stories should be. Plot advancement and action. Nothing else. Great soundtrack, as well.
