Slow start but solid drama at end
After listening to an excellent book 1 and a very decent book 2, I initially struggled with the third book as the author's power of description was less compelling for me, little dialogue or drama. This was a shame as I had gotten to like the central characters and the dilemmas they had been facing but the book significantly improves after the first half dozen chapters.

Another month to find out more, really?
Lacks for some meaningful dialogue; perhaps some "where did it all go wrong?" philosophising between the loyalists, something that would make the protagonists - into whom we have invested over twenty-four hours - more human, and thus their murders more tragic.

Top-notch
Equally as good as the previous books in the story. Longworth is incredible as always.

Gripped by heresy
I was truly gripped by this book. many times I had to pull myself away, yet wanted to know how the new chapter finished.
I listened to hours at time, lost within the unfolding of the heresy.
Toby Longworth did a superb job narrating, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I now look forward to the next book into the series.

Another great
Good read, plenty of action and a good third to the “trilogy”.
On to the next.

The intimate relationship of various fighters
