Everybody leaves a trace. The ghosts of Button House may have been dead a long time – some of them a very long time – but they have all left their mark on the world (even if, in Robin’s case, that mark is just a handprint on the wall of a cave).

Gathered together in this volume is a treasure trove of unearthed cuttings, original records and rare artefacts that explore the unseen lives of those who died at Button House: from Thomas's love letters to Pat's ‘Summer Camp Rap’, and from Julian's campaign promises to Lady Button's Rules of Etiquette. There are even documents dictated to the one person who can see and hear the ghosts: Alison Cooper.

Written by the show’s creators – Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard and Ben Willbond – this eclectic archive is a unique chance to discover more about the beloved ghosts of Button House. Thank be to Moonah!

An audiobook for all the family, it is as warm-spirited and deliriously daft as the series itself.

I loved the email from Julian to his wife because it showed him in a completely different light to his character It shows that even a ghost can have regrets, probably the reason why they're ghosts in the first place. Also I enjoyed Kitty's Diary, the 10 questions from each ghost, Robin's Oral History, (Robin is always so funny!) Thomas' and Lady Buttons' letters and Thomas' Poetry review. As a writer, Thomas's observations about other poets' work never fail to leave me in stiches. I think he likes to hear himself talk more than he creates on paper. Mary's Witch trial and execution was uncomfortable to listen to because I couldn't help thinking about how alone and scared she must've been. To have never done anything to anyone and to have her own neighbours and the magistrate basicly seal her fate like so many innocent people accused of witchcraft before her, she must've felt like she had not a friend in the world. I flet so incredibly sad for her. I also loved Alison's narration. To see the ghosts from her point of view, trying to figure out who they were and the timeline of their enviroment in which they lived in was very fascinating. Thank you so much to the cast and crew of Ghosts, I hope you will continue your hauntings!

Utter hilarity from start to finish
