Summary

Life in Dublin hasn't worked out quite as planned for friends Melissa, Steph and Eilis. Melissa has a successful career, but she's a mess of insecurities. Steph is lonely, walking on eggshells around her philandering husband and angry teenage daughter. And Eilis, an A&E doctor, is just going through the motions with her long-term partner, Rob. Is it ever too late to take charge and live your life on your terms?

I loved this story with all the twists and turns. It could easily be a real life story in modern day life.

Very good listening

It was like being back home again, and I hadn’t realised just how much I missed it. Hope amidst the turmoil of adult life, when you realise that just settling is no longer good enough.

The power of friendship.

This listen took ages to get into. I listened to it all but it dragged.

The narrator was good at her job voicing other characters. It was about friendships and their families and that was depressing.

It was to sad too actually recommend.

I am lucky that I didn't waste a credit on this book as it was FREE to listen too through the Plus Catalogue included membership 🌠

NOT GREAT. 2 STARS ⭐⭐
