Enzo is surprised to find that Adam Killian's (the victim) study has been left intact. This proves ideal for Enzo’s forensic investigation. 

The island is kept at the centre of this investigation.

Can’t stop myself buying and listening to these books. Excellent in all ways. Peter Forbes gives another 5* performance and clever cold case story. Nice not to have the daughters and Nicole appear this time. Was getting a bit formulaic. So Enzo can pull it off alone! Have already bought the next one in the series.

Peter Forbes is such a brilliant narrator another of Peter May’s enthralling crime stories. Enzo McCloud is a fascinating character whom I’d love to meet.

I preferred the earlier books where Enzo has a bunch of young helpers, but this book also worked well. Once agaain, good background colour from the island of Groix. Interesting characters and plot twists.
