A really good story, I enjoyed it from start to finish even if I did want to throttle Shane for the decision he made when younger. Looking forward to reading more in this series as the team are a great bunch of characters.

This listen was on my included list, so gave it a try. Heard nothing by this author before, and am not disappointed.

This series starts strong, finishes strong and delivers everything you need in the middle…before introducing a whole new series afterwards (and still going with spin offs!)

The first in the series is a pacy read with intriguing characters this story is narrated brilliantly with the incomparable Troy Duran as Lennox (*shivers*) and CJ Bloom as Lily.

The pain of Lennox’s death is portrayed really well and you really feel her loss in the narration, as well as her anger and frustration as Lennox’s true betrayal comes to the surface.
The guilt Lennox has for his choices, especially when Lily is brought into danger despite his efforts, is palpable and both their actions, whilst wrong for the right reasons, are heartbreaking.

Well read at a good pace, this audio is relatively short but doesn’t feel it, having sufficient depth and content to deliver a well rounded, action packed story.
