As usual Valerie Perrin writes beautifully. I read 3 books by her, all of them are sublime

I really enjoyed this book. Sometimes confusing, but everything and everyone connects eventually. Who would have thought that a bistro would be as much a character as any of the other characters! I must admit that I preferred Fresh Water for Flowers, not by much though!
