Coming back to Dick Francis works after 10 years or so. Finding this novel unputdownable once again. A very detailed compelling read. Highly recommended.

Having both read and listened to Dick and Felix Francis over many years this is the first time I have gone from start to finish in such a short time.A really really top class listen with Tony Brittons dialects adding to the enjoyment.

I loved the story but Tony Britton s narration was outstanding. Although I had read the book I hadn't thought of the hero as being Australian. Tony 's accent never faltered and he can play women without ever sounding silly or shrill. Loved it.
