'Tis the season for mulled wine, mince pies and magic under the mistletoe.
Flora loves Christmas more than anything else in the world, so she's gutted when her Scrooge-alike boss fires her from Deck the Halls Christmas emporium. But now she finally has a chance to follow her dreams, and what better place to start than the home of Christmas?
Before she can say sleigh bells, Flora's on her way to Lapland in a campervan-cum-Christmas-shop. She cant wait to spend her days drinking hot chocolate and taking reindeer-drawn carriage rides, but something Flora didn't expect was meeting Connor, a Norse god of a man who makes her heart flutter and snowflakes swirl in her stomach. Wonderful and Christmassy

Nice book for Christmas Season
This was a lovely book for listening to over the festive season, while doing my Christmas jigsaw by the fire. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Loved this story
The first book I've listened to by this author. A lovely, sweet story. Will definitely check out more of her books.
Would be very happy to follow the main characters of this book on more adventures too.

The performance
The main character, Flora, isn’t a very likable person. She has a persecution complex, is rude to people, and free-loads off her best friend. But to make her completely unlikable, here comes the narration. It’s shrill but not monotone as she was in One More Christmas at the Castle (which I returned at the 20% mark.)
Shame I could not return this one as well, as I quit listening at 10% and read the kindle book instead.
