Summary

Ali has been hiding in an attic since civilization collapsed eight weeks ago. When the plague hit, her neighbors turned into mindless, hungry, homicidal maniacs.

Daniel has been a loner his entire life. Then the world empties, and he realizes that being alone isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Finn is a former cop who is desperate for companionship and willing to do anything it takes to protect the survivors around him.

When the three cross paths they band together; sparks fly, romance blooms in the wasteland, and Ali, Daniel, and Finn bend to their very human needs in the ruins of civilization. Lust, love, and trust all come under fire in Flesh as the three battle to survive, hunted through the suburban wastelands.

Meh... Just Meh

I love Kylie Skotts "Stage Dive" and Dive Bar " series. Where you get a real story... With steamy encounters...

With this book it's the other way around... The main focus is sex ( well written) but.... Just Meh... Not the great story I had expected...

Not impressed

I enjoyed the Stage Dive series very much. They made me laugh, cry at times and look forward to the next in the sexy romance. I love zombie apocalypse stories, I don’t even mind some romance between survivors. However, this was horrible. It was like mixing a pickle with chocolate. Both are good separately but together they just suck.

Walking Dead turns kinky

I liked this story, but there were, definitely, some Walking Dead elements to it. I didn't mind, though, being a Walking Dead fan. The plot seemed a bit all over the place in some spots, but it wrapped up fairly neatly. Or as neat as one can be, in the zombie apocalypse. I look forward to the next book in the series.

So different I loved it!

I really enjoyed this book! If you like the Walking Dead and erotica, you'll love this book. Ali, Daniel & Finn are trying to survive during the zombie apocalypse and they find each other. The action is high, the sex is Hot and the narration is fabulous! I can't wait to start book 2!

NEVER CROSSING MY APOCALYPSE AND EROTICA AGAIN!

What did you like best about Flesh? What did you like least?

How protective they were of Allie... I dont care for M/F/M relationships!

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Well I would have given it a storyline...the post apocalyptic world was not built, the characters were weak...and I really hope Kylie sticks to what she knows...obviously it is not the scifi P/A genre!

What about Elena Wolfe and Ray Chase ’s performance did you like?

Elena was good....Ray is just ok for me...

Could you see Flesh being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Please do not do that!

Any additional comments?

I did not really like this..at all...I forced myself to continue it...and am really disappointed that I didnt like this...I absolutely love love love all of Kylie's other books...this one was super lame to me...probably because I know what really awesome post apocalyptic zombie fiction is really all about since I have listened to probably 100+ of those....and oh what a wonderful way to end an end of the world story with a nice DP scene...PLEASE....this is going into my NEVER AGAIN FILE!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

GREAT BOOK- I was riveted

I passed this book up the first time I saw it because of some of the reviews but eventually listened to it and I am glad that I did! Very interesting book. I had to go walk the dogs a few extra miles so my husband wouldn’t interrupt me as I was listening to it. Very addicting. Great book I highly recommend.

👍🏻👍🏻 Fantastic!

I read the sequel, SKIN, last year and finally had to nab this. Kylie is one of the best writers when it comes to setting moods and feeling people. This zombie apocalypse romance becomes 100 percent believable, even in situations where other books would fail. The second book is a must read, even though this is a standalone, just because you will want more!
Dual narration rocked. Definite Winner Here!
Two Thumbs Up!!

Delicious, but the fem-tagonist...

Is she 32 or 22? Even isolated, something is naive about her.

Also. Not really okay with the idea of actively trying to get pregnant during an apocolypse. Never really seems smart unless you know for damn sure, without a shadow of a doubt, that the settlement is safe OR it's accidental. But these three are shooting for it... not into this.

Also also. Missed bisexual chain here with Dan bringing up the threesome initially and even bringing up how Ali would feel if he and the prrtty cop wanted to fuck. Maybe it's created in the sequel, but if not, truly a missed opportunity for a complete threesome.

Bless Ray Chase for handling so many distinctive voices. A grand performance. Elena Wolfe had a very sexy interpretation of the men as well, and her Ali was very believable. Bless them both!

Okay....

Great idea for a story... however something was missing for me. The lead female character Al, survived the beginning of the Zombie apocalypse by hiding in an attic. I felt that she gave in to way to easily to Dan's desires. There's a lot of potential for Al to be a strong female character (which would have made the story great!) but she was so dependent on her male counterparts I became frustrated. Dan started off strong but once he and Al met Finn, Dan became to submissive to Finn. Which made him seem weak and unattractive to me. Finn and Al describe him as an old man which was kinda creepy. I don't understand why a woman who was strong and smart enough to survive the beginning of the apocalypse, would suddenly become weak and needy once a man steps on the scene. other than that.... okay story!
