Summary

If you’ve ever been interested in the Japanese art of decluttering or the Chinese art of feng shui, this two-audiobook bundle is the perfect marriage of these two ancient practices.

First, we have Decluttering Your Life:

What if I told you that for the cost of this audiobook you could reduce stress, clear your mind, and live a happier life? Well, you can.

If you feel overwhelmed, stressed, and like you constantly have a huge weight on your shoulders, odds are you need to declutter your life.

Decluttering is highly necessary in today’s world, where there are numerous opportunities to distract one’s self and live a life of chaos and stress.

From the things we acquire and accumulate to the things we desire and stress over, it makes up an ocean of unnecessary distractions and clutter in our heads and our lives.

The solution is to declutter, and anyone could tell you that, but what is not always known is how to recognize the point at which you need to start. You also need to know how to do it and what to look for to know if it’s working.

This audiobook has all that and more.

We break it down to a level that almost anyone can apply to their unique circumstances. But the work is yours to do; we can only pave the road, you must do the driving.

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s inside the first audiobook:

  • What exactly is clutter?
  • How to recognize clutter in your life
  • What is mental clutter?
  • How physical clutter can cause emotional and psychological clutter
  • A step-by-step guide on how to remove all clutter from your life
  • And so much more!

Feng Shui Made Simple, the second audiobook in this bundle, is the perfect starting point for anyone interested in feng shui.

The practice of feng shui brings a positive balance of energy to your home and your life.

Sabrina Godwin takes you through all of the basics like:

  • An introduction to feng shui
  • Yin and yang
  • The five elements and what they mean
  • The bagua
  • Feng shui’ing your bedroom, kitchen, and every other room in your house

You can apply this to more than just your stuff!

The moment I heard about this book, I purchased it. I had been attempting to clear out unnecessary clutter and junk from my life.
I started listening , and was torn between putting it down as soon as I ran across something that struck me, and sticking with it and finishing it, which is recommended.

I am never one to follow something 100%, since what works for one person will not necessarily what will work for another, but there is something to be gained from listening this book. Find the joy in your life, be grateful, and make conscious decisions about all the things (and people!) you allow to be in your life!

Live a Clutter-Free Life!!

Great audio book. I definitely needed some direction with my spring cleaning this year. I kept feeling like no matter what I did, my apartment looked cluttered. I would spend hours cleaning and it just still overwhelmed me. This audio book allowed me to rid my life of all these objects while still being guilt free. I grew up in a house with the "waste not want not mentality". So naturally I felt compelled to keep everything or else it was almost immoral. I also came to a huge realization to stop buying tons of stuff unless it really is either absolutely necessary or exceptional sentinel mental value. Lastly, I wouldn't believe it if someone told me this, but I'm actually sleeping better at night.

Great Ideas

Great Ideas and good mental talks for managing the excess of too much nice stuff. I like this book on the topic for it is written by someone who has been there and done that. There is simple steps fo follow without creating bigger messes by pulling everything out. Some times pulling everything out is the way to make big progress. But if you don't have time for those big projects, then what are you to do? How are you to tackle the mess? She's got a plan for you that works. Its changing the way I do things and I'm finally making progress for a cleaner house.

Absolutely fantastic

I can completely identify with her thought processes! It was perfect for my way of thinking and doing. She is real and her life and process of getting rid of things is much easier for me. How to declutter as you go and she relates all the same and angst I feel to get rid of things. Thank you Sabrina ! I’m doing my garage right now and I needed the refresher and boost to get rid of more stuff!

Inspiring and easy to apply.

This is somewhere near the tenth or eleventh book about getting rid of clutter that I have read in the past couple of years. And yet, this book is the only one I've ever needed. Sabrina Godwin has a unique approach to the difficulty involved with keeping too many possessions. As goofy as it sounds, her joyful approach has totally worked for me. (I'm wishing I could show you before and after photos of my closet!) This book has enabled me to see my belongings in an entirely different way--and the cherry on the top is that it's actually kind of fun. Wow, who knew it could be this easy to tidy up a house?

A Philosophy on Personal Belongings

I think the biggest take-away from this book has almost nothing to do with stuff. How sad that I had to read a book to realize this.

Fill your life and time with what you treasure... Be mindful of what takes up your resources: your time, emotions, space.

Understand the total sacrifice you must give to truly treasure something, be it a person, activity, or item (don't buy a dog just to lock it in a cage, don't buy a dress just to stuff it in a crowded closet, don't take up a second job when you wish to spend time with children, don't keep abusive people in your life).

Feeling so thankful and happy with something in your life that any maintenance or attention or cleaning that you must give to it ALSO give you joy

Unstuff Your Life!

This book helps one tackle the often complex issues around clutter and lack of organization with refreshing simplicity and a healthy dose of humor. It supports the reader to make this transition and set aside the guilt or judgement that usually gets in the way of progress. I incorporated a lot of the tips and advice in my own organizational systems.

Life-changing. And Magical. Seriously.

This book is very helpful and practical. The instructions are very clear after hating to fold laundry for so many years I get excited to fold laundry now because I know everything is going to be tidy and in place I would recommend this book to anybody who's struggling with keeping the house tidy.

Practical and Insightful Advice

The book is easy to understand, and takes the guessing out of Feng Shui and Decluttering. You can pick and choose which places in your house to focus on, or you can start with Chapter 1 and work through everything. And it was easy to revisit later if I had something to add. This book helped me focus on where to start, and what to do in each room without having the overwhelming feeling that I needed to tackle everything at once. I was always interested in Feng Shui and Decluttering but never knew where to start. Sabrina Godwin gives practical and insightful advice, and makes the concept of Feng Shui and Decluttering easy to understand. I never realized how many old "gifts" I was holding into just so I didn't feel bad about getting rid of them. Or the old pictures that I never took the time to clean out. I highly recommend this book if you are feeling overwhelmed or you want a practical way to incorporate Feng Shui and Decluttering into your home.

Help for the desperate home seller

Sabrina Godwin gives clear and concise instructions on where to start when you are completely overwhelmed. Her books are a very good place to start for the feng shui and Decluttering (like me). I especially found her directions helpful when I was trying to figure out where to start in order to get my house in shape to sell. One room, one closet, one drawer at a time, I finally cleared the clutter and it was such a breath of fresh air. She not only helps get your home in order, but other areas of your life will start falling into place once you living space is peaceful. I hope to never go back to clutter again.

Inspired to Feng Shui and Decluttering

I love this book. Want to feel better about your home or living space? Listen Sabrina's book, and you will be motivated to clean out the closets, organize drawers, paint a room, or rearrange furniture. After only listening a couple of chapters, I was inspired to start cleaning out closets. Several chapters later, I was wondering why in the world I was saving items in my attic that I hadn't seen or needed in years. It's amazing how much energy I had after getting rid of some of my old 'baggage'. Sabrina's easy-to-listen suggestions and tips gives you the motivation you need to make your home a more enjoyable place. It's a quick, easy to listen. I've even picked up a few extra copies for gifts.

Feng Shui and Decluttering Made Simple

I've always liked the idea of Feng Shui and Decluttering but never could grasp the concept until I listen this book. I especially liked the part about decluttering - something that I didn't think I had a problem with until I went through my back closet. The gifts I've received but never used, old pictures that were no longer serving me, and the things that I didn't have the courage to throw away until now. With all the space I've cleared I'm listen for new things to enter my life. Thanks,Sabrina for your clarity in leading me through this process.

Amazingly simple

Practical and amazingly simple. Sabrina's easy steps to creating a beautiful and peaceful home bring the principles of Feng Shui and Decluttering to her listener with a writing style that is as uncluttered as her decluttering suggestions. She has a knack for getting to the point quickly without compromising the complicated and ancient art of Feng Shui and Decluttering. This book is a delightful introduction to a discipline that some find daunting. Thanks for sharing your gift of clarity, Sabrina .

Loved this book

I love the way Sabrina Godwin explains Feng Shui and Decluttering. As someone new to Feng Shui and Decluttering, it was easy to make changes which translated into a feeling of calmness and peace in my home (and even my office). Decluttering was key. So many other books required unusual changes - and didn't quite work with my life (or my decor). I love Sabrina's suggestions. It's like having a very stylish personal interior designer that also feeds your soul. I'm also a fan of her blog and have found great information there as well. Thank you Sabrina.Loved this book.

Feng Shui and Decluttering Made Simple

Feng Shui and Decluttering has never been so easy. We all know there is more to Feng Shui and Decluttering than rearranging furniture, so sometimes it's overwhelming to think of applying Feng Shui and Decluttering to your entire home. Sabrina Godwin is excellent at simplifying the principles of Feng Shui and Decluttering in a way that is practical, manageable, and fun. I applied the concepts in this book to my own home and now I enjoy my living space in fresh new ways. Whenever I start to feel stagnant in my home, I refer to this book for simple solutions that make profound changes. Bravo, Sabrina.

so fresh and so clean

Sabrina has taken the mystique out of feng shui and decluttering so that listener can fully understand its benefits without getting overwhelmed with its complexity. I've listen several books about feng shui and decluttering, but until now - haven't listen one this informative while at the same time being enjoyable. Thank you, Sabrina.

If you're only going to buy one cleaning book

People who buy books like this usually have cleaning or clutter problems in their homes, and usually have several cleaning books in an attempt to resolve the problem. I have a whole collection of.such books. I gleaned helpful nuggets from my other books but this one brought real lasting results in my house and has made weekly housecleaning a breeze. No more wasted time looking for stuff. Very freeing from the burden of too much stuff! Remarkable book.
